Hi. My name is Steve Duross. This website was originally conceived as a vanity project to raise my online profile before opening a few new businesses in 2015. As good ideas go, they all went. Everything that is except for the one business I truly love called duross & langel. Sometime the seemingly bad things that happen in our lives turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
I began reading tarot more than forty years ago when I was lost and unhappy, hoping the cards would give me the answers I wanted. Not the way tarot works. Many years later I picked up tarot again and committed myself to the path you now find me. Age and a little wisdom have offered a less needy perspective so it is easier for me to share. Tarot as I understand it works best when you know the questions you need to ask. Sounds simple enough though sometimes we all find ourselves confused, overwhelmed or anxious within our lives. I’m here to help you map the answers you seek. Not dictate them. The cards have a fairly fixed set of meanings. Each reading however is open to your interpretation of those meanings. I will show you what I see, what the cards reveal and then guide you back to your own inner voice to to find answers. No woo woo. No bullshit.
I’ve left my business blogs on this site as musings. Nothing more than random thoughts. Writing is how I process my world. When not in my workshop making product or giving a reading, you will most likely find me hanging out, planning my next adventure or snogging random dogs.
